  • The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • The RN responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
  • The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating, and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in various age groups
    • Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements
    • Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others
    • Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills
    • Must be able to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays
    • Must be able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, utilize best practices for patient care as expected by department leaders and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
    • Must be able to work in a busy and stressful work environment where practice changes to meet new patient safety requirements, goals, or objectives
    • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software required
    • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload expectations
    • Interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills
    • Creativity, problem analysis, teamwork, and decision making
      • Schedule Information
      • Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays
        • Additional Details
        • 100 mile radius rule in effect. The traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility. If they live within 100 miles from the facility, they are not qualified.
