Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Pocatello, Idaho, 83201 About The
Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU -
Cardiovascular ICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour
(18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum
of 2 years required License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Surgical ICU skills, management of
dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, chronic/acute renal failure
management, and more. Job Description: - Work in a Level 2 Trauma
facility with a comprehensive stroke center and advanced
cardiac/open heart program. - Admit and care for ICU and CVICU
patients. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 in a 20-bed unit. -
Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed. - Provide
weekend coverage every other weekend or every third weekend, as
scheduled. - Operate EPIC and GE monitors. - Administer blood
products, manage arterial lines, and provide central and PICC line
care. - Perform continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, and
titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips. - Assist with management of
CPAP/BiPAP, care for ventilated patients, and interpret ABGs for
effective ventilator management. - Follow hypothermia protocols and
implement infection prevention and isolation precautions. - Manage
surgical wounds with drains/wound vacs. - Wear navy blue scrubs. -
Support a general ICU with a mixed patient population, including
medical, surgical, cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, neuro, neuro
surgical, and trauma patients. - Complete mandatory modules during
orientation, tracked via transcripts on-site. Preferred
Certifications: PALS, TNCC Local travelers must be located at least
100 miles away from the facility to qualify. Modules are considered
billable hours, with RN modules averaging 4-6 hours.
