Job Description:
We are currently hiring for a dynamic and effective Transcript
and Student Records Coordinator to join our on campus team. The
Transcript and Student Records Coordinator provides support to the
Registrar's and Student Affairs Offices within the area of student
records. The Transcript and Student Records Coordinator
demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills,
advanced computer skills, and the ability to interact
professionally with a variety of people. This position is located
on our Draper, UT campus.

EVERYDAY:
- Receive and analyze all student high school and University
transcripts from other institutions, review courses completed,
verify level, content and grading system. Evaluate transcripts for
official and accreditation requirements
- Review coursework for academic equivalency using University
catalogs, course descriptions, syllabi and other materials
- Scan and upload incoming transcripts in the SIS database
- Awards credit for transfer credit work
- Provide communication to student and staff regarding results of
transcript evaluation
- Provide assistance to students and staff in the interpretation
of transfer credit policies, requirements and any related
activities
- Receive, review and process all transcript requests
- Receive, review and process all incoming education
verifications
- Knowledge of transcript procedures, grading systems, and course
equivalencies
- Knowledge of software used in student records including student
information systems; word processing, electronic mail, internet
skills, database management, and spreadsheet applications
- Accurately and efficiently use a variety of word processing and
other software, spreadsheet and/or database programs to
create/produce letters, reports, spreadsheets and other
documents
- Effective customer service communication and skills including;
etiquette, math percentages and decimals, grammar and spelling
using patience and courtesy
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate student
files
- Provides support for degree completion
- Maintains and follows FERPA and all other regulations regarding
protection of student information
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED:
- Required education: Associates degree
- Preferred education: Bachelor's degree
- Required experience: 2-3 years in a professional administrative
environment
- Preferred Experience: Higher education backgroundEQUAL
