Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated D365 Supply Chain
Functional Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have
a strong background in using technology systems to enable the
supply chain management function of a company and be proficient in
Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for Finance and Operations.
This role requires an individual who can analyze business needs,
recommend solutions, and implement changes to improve our supply
chain processes. This role requires the ability to effectively
communicate and interact with employees across all levels of the
organization, including executive leadership. This role requires
occasional travel (10-20%) to our various sites.
Responsibilities:
- Systems Analysis and Design
- Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for
improvement.
- Configure and customize D365 to enhance supply chain
operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and
translate them into functional specifications.
- Provide training and support to users to ensure effective
adoption of new processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations
and processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they
arise.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in D365 and supply
chain management best practices.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure alignment
with overall business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for all supply chain
functional processes, fostering strong relationships with
stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update
stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and
deliverables.
- Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translating them
into actionable requirements, project plans and technical
specifications.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or
issues promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end-users to
ensure successful adoption of the Dynamics 365 ERP system.Required
Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent
experience.
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role,
specifically with D365 for Finance and Operations or other ERP such
as SAP, Oracle, or others.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including
fabrication, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience in designing and supporting Master Data Management
strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and other relevant
software tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze
complex business needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate
collaboration across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with database management, data migration, and data
integration techniques.
- Excellent understanding of data security protocols and best
practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to convey technical information to non-technical
stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen
eye for detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of
accountability and ownership.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Work
Environment
- Office environment- sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
- Occasional site visits in industrial environment- light
walking, lifting, crouching maybe involved.Position Type and
Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time, non-exempt position;
typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to
5 p.m.
